This book is great for a new perspective on life. If you think that you are the ugliest person in the world, read this book, and find out the wonders of the future world. This book takes place sometime in the future, but everyone after their 16th birthday becomes pretty forever.

City of Bones by Cassandra Clare
Reviewed by Erika, Gr. 7

As Clary Fray goes out with her friend Simon to a normal club in New York City, some not so normal things happen. First, she witnesses a murder committed by three teenagers with tattoos covering them. The problem with these teenagers though, is that no one else can see them except Clary, and the body of the dead person has disappeared. Second, she then finds that her mother is missing after seeing these strange people. And, third, she must find out the truth about her heritage, and what her mother has been hiding from her for all of these years.

I was just wondering when the social networking for teens class is. I know that it was rescheduled, but i forgot when. I also had a sugestion for the blog. I thought that maybe kids could start to post things for other children to post on. It doesn't have to be all teens in the world, but maybe you could have just a few teens post things to keep the blog going, and get some new ideas from a teen's point of view. Thank you for listening, and I will see you all soon. Erika

Hey Scooby Doo. City of Bones is diffrent than any other book beacause, the only reason Clary doesn't know about her heritage is because it was the only way her mother knew of that might keep her safe from all of the deamons, faries, and any other dangerous fariy tale creature you can think of. It is also diffrent because, her mother goes missing, and Clary has to rely on complete strangers to help her learn about her heritage instead of her mother.
Your right Anonymous, this book really is amazing. For kids, blogging is a good thing to get started on with this blog. It is really easy, and it will keep the librians up to date with what we are reading, and what we think is cool. All you have to do is comment on something, or just press the comment botton to send the librians some ideas to blog about.
