Two programs to be rescheduled

We recently had to cancel two teen programs: one due to the major snowstorm that just occurred and one due to a programmer being sick.

The Knotted Necklace program, originally scheduled for Saturday, February 28th, was a class where you were going to learn to make a necklace with a simple knotting technique using beautiful beads and fancy ribbon. And Creative Babysitting, originally scheduled for Monday, March 2nd, was going to teach you fun and educational games and tips to help you on your next babysitting job.

At this time we don't have a rescheduling date set for either of these classes since the Winter programs are almost finished and the Spring programs have already been planned and booked. We do hope to offer both of these programs some time in the Summer though so make sure to keep your eyes open for that!

And just a reminder that the dates for Spring program registration are as follows:

Hauppauge cardholders: In-person registration begins Saturday, March 14th and phone registration begins Monday, March 16th.

Out-of-library-district cardholders (anyone who doesn't have a Hauppauge Library Card): Registration (both in-person and over the phone) begins Monday, March 23rd.
