Comic Book Day 2009 is almost here!

Saturday, May 2nd is Comic Book Day at Hauppauge Library!
Join us anytime from 10:00am- 4:00pm for all the fun!

This is our third year celebrating the event that is better known as Free Comic Book Day. Comic shops across North America celebrate the first Saturday in May by giving away free comics to those who visit their shops. More and more libraries are getting in on the action too! We've been lucky enough to partner with a wonderful local store, Fourth World Comics in Smithtown, who every year generously donate free comic books for us to distribute at the library.

So make sure to stop by the library on Saturday, May 2nd for your free comic book (while supplies last) and tons of drop-in trivia and superhero activities. After visiting us, make sure to go down to Fourth World Comics and show your support for them too!
